Week of Respect Begins Oct. 5 across New Jersey and Absecon Schools is excited to announce that we have taken the Pledge and will go Gold & Blue on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Under New Jersey’s Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, all public schools across the state dedicate the first week of October to promoting character education, kindness, and inclusion. Throughout the week, our students participate in age-appropriate activities and discussions designed to prevent harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB) and foster a positive, supportive environment for everyone. 

We encourage all students, teachers, and staff to wear Gold and Blue to take a visible, unified stand for respect, empathy, and belonging across our schools.
