Halloween is Monday, Oct. 31 and Marsh Elementary will celebrate with a Halloween Parade followed by Classroom Celebrations.

We are looking forward to allowing our students to enjoy the Halloween season. To that end, below are the guidelines our students will need to follow if they plan to dress up for Halloween on Monday, Oct. 31.

Any students not following the guidelines will be addressed through our Code of Conduct. Your cooperation will make the day safe and fun for everyone!

1. Students will change into their costumes prior to the parade
2. Make sure your student has appropriate shoes for recess and gym.
3. Students may wear pajamas or a Halloween costume
4. Weapons or props that serve as weapons are NOT permitted
5. Nothing can cover the face (i.e. no costume masks, etc.)
6. Clothing/Costumes that inhibit movement are NOT permitted
7. Students must be appropriately dressed or covered at all times  (no clothing that is offensive, etc.)
8. Colored hair is permitted, but hair color spray cans must remain at home. Please apply hair color at home.
9. Only limited costume makeup is permitted. Students must be recognizable at all times. No makeup can be applied while in school. DO NOT bring costume makeup to school. Please apply any makeup at home.
